How did you get your PSC nickname?
It is my actual name

What is your real name and age?
I'm 30 something

Where are you from and what do you like best about being there?
New England, and green stuff, fire, and animals. I have lived and or seen a bit of the U.S. except the North East. Would love to see more.

What do you do to keep the bills paid?
I commission Transmission Substations

What do you do in your spare time?
Attempt to chop better than the bunny. Think about ways to assassinate the bunny. I like the bunny.

How did you find PSC, and what do you like most about the site?
Long story.....Google

If you could change one thing at PSC, what would it be and why?
Probably make all contest anonymous.

Is there any other information about you would like to pass on?
Take time on your chops and don't be scared to ask for advice. Constructive criticism hurts sometimes, but if you should take it then grow up. I take it and give it all the time. It make you better and stronger! :)

How many hours per week do you spend on PSC?
About as many hours I spend a week with your mommy.

What other sites, not Photoshop related, do you like to surf?
I can't surf long story, anyway stitches and emergency rooms involved.

What tools do you use to chop?
PSCC now. I Started with 7.0, I have used AE. I have made chops with elements too. It really is not the software, but what you're doing with it. I think most beginners should start with a lower version, then when they upgrade to a pro version they appreciate the tools and toys more.

What gets your creative juices flowing, how do you create a masterpiece?
Caffeine, environment, motivation, time, eh. I think anybody can make a chop out of any source with those. I love Star Wars. Sci-Fi, adventure, and Puns I love Puns! :)

What inspires you?
Idea and plan. Sci-fi weird, what prudish people do not like. I like to piss normal folks off. Then again I like to piss people that think they're abnormal off, (because they're probably hipsters and they piss me off). Just kidding I'm kidding

Do you have a system? Does a chop have to be done a certain way following steps or are you a messy chopper and just go with the flow?
Idea- rough my selections-set up the story-clean my layers-give it as much skill as my level is. Oh in this world Lighting and shading, shadows and lighting are 3 different things. Compositing can be tough, always ask for advice.

What style of chop do you prefer to create?
I like all styles. I like Art. Sometimes it depends on what mood I am in.

Filters, brushes and techniques: Which do you use, and not use, and why?
Use everything, just don't depend on anything. Yeah I use a genaric filter on a layer seldom.

When do you know that you have it just right, or is it constant changes up until, or after, you post?
I don't like this question

What is the limit to what you will chop?
shut up!

Are there any tips and/or tricks that you would like to pass along to less experienced choppers?
Do not expect to be a superstar right off. Take your time. Critisism is a good thing. don't be a big baby if someone gives you advice. There are ways about doing it but whatever.

What is your favorite type of source image, and why?
I am Randomly inspired.

There is often talk about how the source is used and to what extent it should be. What are your views on all sources, outside source use and animations?
I like to see the source used. I don't like it when you get used though!

What is your preferred resource for outside source images?
Pssst

In your opinion what makes a good chop?
lines

Do you have a system to get things started?
I listen to all kinds of music, usually electronic.

Have you ever completed a chop and then decided not to enter it in the contest? If so, why?
I usually always enter them after I really started them. I have entered some awful chops, see for yourself.

After you finish your chop do you just post it or seek opinions of family and/or fellow choppers first?
Yes I do

If some one finds a fault in your work do you change it or stay with what you posted?
You work things for a while. You become blind. As an Engineer the same thing applies. If you want to keep it your way have a good reason why. it all comes back to your ultimate goal in the first place. but don't be a jerk.

What qualities do you look for when deciding to vote on a chop?
Idea. Composition. Idea.

Some member prefer not to vote for filtered chops or animations. Is there any particular style/type of chop you won't vote for?
It needs to be a pretty impressive animation for me to vote for it. Not some silly mouse running through a maze.

Time is always a factor, how much time do you spend on a chop and how much time is too much?
I have spent weeks of my spare time, only to get second place. then I I have spent less than 2 hours and gotten 1st. So fuck it!

We all love to get votes. Now are you a constant vote checker or do you just let it go and check once a day? (be honest)
Your mom checks my vote stats for me

What chop of yours did not do as well as you expected?
Probably one of my earlier chops http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/184249/x-ray.html Now I would have made it better. But I still think it was a great idea.

What do you consider your best chop so far?
http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/193797/the-walking-early.html

What do you consider your worst chop so far?
http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/179552/venus-fly-trap.html

Who is your favorite chopper out there and why?
Claf, and Sjitski. Technical skills they are are both awesome. Look them up. Ideas. I beat Claf in a contest once only because one guy liked my subject better, but his shit was way better! http://photoshopcontest.com/photoshop-contest/1001054/man-and-manlike.html

What do you NOT like to see in a chop, and why not?
I like to see all kinds of choppers from all levels

What is the best chop of all time?
Oh come on I do really like the Nazi Seal that Anfa did. But of all time nope

Do you have any other PSC related comments to add?
